I have a 9 x 13 pan, and I want the final cake to look like a number one for a baby's first birthday. I had a book with some ideas, but can't find it anywhere.

How many presents should my husband and I get our one year old son for his first birthday? We've already gotten him 8-10 small things, and he's having a large birthday party with no doubt many more gifts expected. Are we doing enough?
